Dr Allison Sonneveld is a proud Palawa woman from Lutruwita (Tasmania). She holds a PhD in international relations from the University of Tasmania and has more than ten years’ Government experience in policy and strategy development. Allison has a longstanding interest in the Indo-Pacific region and is certified with the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) as a translator for Indonesian to English. Allison excels at conveying specialised and technical information into plain English. 

The name ‘Pilotage Consulting’ has a twofold meaning. The first is Pilot, Allison’s first rescue greyhound. ‘Pilotage’ also reflects the act of helping ships to navigate to their destination. This practice is central to how Pilotage Consulting guides clients to realise their strategic objectives.
